I live in Smithers British Columbia. I am currently in grade seven at St. Josephs School. I enjoy many sports such as hockey, soccer, basketball, badminton, biking, running, volleyball and archery. My favourite subject in school is Mathematics. One of my hobbies is taking apart and fixing broken electronics. I enjoy going to my family’s cabin at Tchesinkut Lake where we plays lots of games and go on hikes. I have won awards, some of which are, the ‘Mining and Exploration’ award at this year’s Science Fair, ‘A’ honour roll in Grades 5 and 6, and the ‘Most Improved Player’ on my rep hockey team this year . When I graduate I would like to go to university to become a Mechanical Engineer or a Computer Engineer.

Abstract:My project is testing to see if a different sandbag shape would prevent more water seepage. I made scaled down sandbags to test this. I found out that the normal rectangular sandbag works the best.
