My name is Qasim Ali and I am currently attending Aurora Charter School. I came to Canada when I was only 3 years old, and will turn 15 this May. I had always wanted to do something that would have a positive impact on our society. Working up to that goal, I was inspired to do a science fair project on human psychology. I now wish to pursue a career that is science related, such as a psychologist. I know many people that suffer from high blood pressure, which is the main reason which led me to conducting this experiment.

Lighten the Pressure
City:Edmonton, AB
School:Aurora Charter School
Abstract:Since high blood pressure is a hardship many people face, I tested, which of the following colors: red, green, blue, black, or white effect blood pressure, pulse and mood of a person. I concluded that red and black increase blood pressure and pulse. Green and blue decreased blood pressure, pulse and had enlightened the mood of participants. The color white had no clear conclusion.
