Print/Download as PDF

Madelaine Paradis is a 15-year-old student in the extended French program at Almaguin Highlands Secondary School. She is very passionate about athletics including volleyball, basketball, soccer, CrossFit, track and especially hockey. Madelaine is also very committed to her academics with her favourite subjects being English and Science. When she's not playing sports or studying Madelaine likes to travel, read, hang out with friends or spend time at her cottage waterskiing and kayaking. This is Madelaine's second time at the CWSF and she is very honoured and excited to be here.

A Tool for Teaching
Region:East Parry Sound
City:South River, ON
School:Almaguin Highlands H.S.
Abstract:Approximately 9% of Ontario students are identified as having a learning disability. These students can require additional support and time, which can make teaching more difficult. I have created a website that will allow teachers to virtually see their student and class profiles that include supports, visuals, accommodations, and teaching strategies for the learning-disabled students.
