I am Jaden Balasuriya. Currently I am in grade 8 attending Mountain View elementary school in Collingwood Ontario. I play many sports such as AAA Hockey, Rugby and mountain biking; I also play the guitar. With the hockey I play, I found practicing my shot daily needed to be more efficent and more effective. This was my thought process for Pucksense. Improvments I am working towards are internet capabilities. For anyone thinking about creating a science fair project, I highly reccomend it as no matter how busy you are you always have that time once a year to really do something your passionate about.

Abstract:Pucksense is an Innovation developed to improve the shot accuracy of hockey players by advancing traditional practice methods. The device is an application connected to sensors throughout your hockey net monitored by your smartphone via bluetooth. It tells you where to shoot just as a defender or goalie would. It also stores your past scores of practice sessions for you to improve off them.
