My name is Marshall Quinn and I currently go to school in Cookstown, Ontario. I am entering Grade 9 next year at Bear Creek Secondary School. I plan to be a pilot when I am older. I play golf, baseball, tennis volleyball and basketball. I also ski with my family. I am going to the provincial Geography Challenge in April along with the "Seeds in Residence" program at Queens university in May. My family and I travel a lot and have been to many countries. WE may visit China for the 2008 Summer Paralympic games. I enjoy reading, playing sports and playing with my friends. My favourite movie is "The Lord of The Rings". I have been involved in Science Fair since Grade 4 and want to continue to be involved well into high school.

Abstract:The puprose of my project is to convert the wasted energy of grey water into useable electricity for household use. To acheive this I have created a micro-hydroelectric system to harness the energy of flowing grey water. A turbine inside a household pipe will re-capture this energy and transfer it, as mechanical energy, to a generator which will convert the mechanical energy into electrical energy.
