My name is Sarah Pritchard. I was born and raised in northern Manitoba. I am a Grade 7 French Immersion student at Ecole Riverside School in Thompson, Manitoba. I have competed in figure skating for 4 years and have played saxophone in my school band since grade 6. I enjoy singing and have sung in many different choirs, including the Provincial Honour Choir, which performed in Winnipeg this spring. Each year, I enter in the Thompson Festival of the Arts, Speech Arts discipline, and have won numerous awards. I am an active church and youth group participant and also enjoy being a Kids’ club leader.

Restrain Yourself
Division:Sciences de la vie / Technologie automobile
Région:Northern Manitoba
Ville:Thompson, MB
École:Riverside School
Sommaire:Scientific studies have conclusively proven that properly fitted head restraints reduce “whiplash” neck injuries in rear end motor vehicle collisions. My study investigated the public’s utilization habits and knowledge of correct head restraint positioning. I concluded that a lack of knowledge, rather than a willful indifference of proper head restraint positioning is the likely cause of the driving public’s poor utilization habits.
