Abstract:This project is a non-experimental study dealing with the role of telomeres and telomerase in human oncogenesis and cancer cell maintenance. Specifically, it deals with the structural analysis of telomeres, their end structure, the telomerase subunits hTERT and hTR, and various telomerase associated proteins to find possible targets for disabling of telomerase mediated telomere elongation.
