Abstract:I tested 100 people to determine factors affecting how quickly they could decipher an English paragraph with scrambled letters in words (Literary Rorschach). Each subject was shown two paragraphs to compare the length of time it took to read them. The first paragraph was normal English, in the second, letters of each word were scrambled. Several variables affected their ability to read the literary rorschach.
