Antioxidants: Bouncing to Growth
School:St. Julia Billiart CES
Abstract:Release of free radicals during oxidative process in a living cell disrupts cell growth. Repair of damaged cells or restoring the disrupted cell metabolism is essential for sustained growth and anti-aging. In this study, application of antioxidants-turmeric, blueberry, orange, carrot, spinach with varying ORAC values, eggshell and a composite on green beans illustrate the relation between plant growth and antioxidant/minerals.
