CWSF 2017 - Regina, Saskatchewan

Print/Download as PDF

I am Thomas Anderson from Little Saskatchewan First Nation. I am 14 years old and in grade 8. I enjoy playing video games, watching movies and attending school every day. I won gold medal this year at the Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre (MFNERC) Science Fair which is being held annually in Winnipeg and won a spot in the Canada-Wide Science Fair to be held in Regina, Saskatchewan this coming May 2017. I became interested in this project because I enjoy playing video games. For further investigation I would test more subjects to get accurate results. For other students I would suggest finding a project that interests you. The more interested you are in a project the more likely you are to do a better job in any Science Fair.

Reaction Time: Experienced vs. Inexperienced Video Gamers
Region:Manitoba First Nations
City:Gypsumville, MB
School:Little Saskatchewan School
Abstract:When someone yells “Think fast!” and throws you a ball, are you able to catch it? When the bell rings at the end of class, are you the first one out of your seat? Can you make it through a sudden hairpin turn in a video game without crashing? If so, then you likely have quick reaction times.
