Abstract:This project researched the uses of robots in cold weather climates like the Arctic and Antarctic. A robot was built to demonstrate the ability of a machine to measure the lengths of the sides of a rectangular shape with the idea of determining perimeter and area. Real examples of robotics in cold weather climates are described.
