Biography
I am an Egyptian Canadian, and last year I took a trip to Egypt to visit my relatives. I play competitive soccer at the Rep. level (second division). I also enjoy playing squash. I am in a squash league and have been to a tournament before. One of my most memorable experiences was when the squash player who is ranked number five in the world, Ramy Ashour, came and stayed at my house with my family and I after the Pace Canadian Open which is a prestigious squash event. I also enjoy bike riding and playing road hockey, badminton and basketball. My hobbies include coin collecting, paintballing, talking on MSN and playing video games. My favorite music artists are Green Day and Akon. This is my first time at the CWSF but last year I won a bronze medal at the Peel Region Science Fair. I am currently undecided whether to be an engineer a psychiatrist or a pediatrician.

Abstract:My project’s objective is to discover the optimum structure for wind turbine wings. To do this I tested eleven angles, four amounts of extra weights (at the tip of the wing), and three lengths. Thanks to my results, I concluded that the best wings for my model are 20 centimeters in length, have an extra weight of 7 grams and are slanted at 10 degrees.
