Biographie
I am a grade 8 student at Jack Callaghan Public School in Lindsay, Ontario, looking forward to high school. My favourite subjects include Math, Science, History, Geography, and French. This year, I have had the opportunity to compete in the Public Speaking Contest for our district; the Gauss Math Contest; a Remembrance Day essay contest, the Board-level Historica Fair, and the Victoria County Science Fair. I am very much looking forward to the 2007 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Truro, Nova Scotia. My hobbies include curling, cross-country skiing, swimming, bicycling, reading, and music. I am a highly active member of the Haliburton—Kawartha Lakes—Brock NDP and am currently serving on the Riding Executive. I actively campaigned for our riding candidate in the past two federal elections (2004, 2006). In addition, I also serve as the Youth Representative on the Oakwood United Church Official Board. My career plans include Law and Politics. I stay up-to-date in current and world affairs. I actively communicate with various politicians and political leaders on significant issues and have personally met David Suzuki, Maude Barlow, Howard Hampton, and Jack Layton. My ultimate goal is to, one day, serve as the Prime Minister of Canada.
