Biographie
My name is Rachael McPhail, a grade 10 student who loves challenges, new experiences and meeting people. I am a competitive gymnast, a member of Interact, a musician/singer, a speaker of French, a traveler, and a lover of science. I was inspired to look at academic performance and playing Wii because my brother is very active on video games. I wanted to know more about which specific part of the brain is affected and by which medium - visual, auditory or playing the Wii. The more students I tested the better I felt about my results giving a clearer picture. I also learned about collation of results and reading the data. It has taught me new skills, made me think beyond classroom learning, allowed me to meet some great people, and has been a true learning experience. I loved my time shared with fellow CWSF participants last year at Nationals and am looking forward to this year's.
