Abstract:Our project 'Sweat Rocks' is about testing different types of rocks that are used in sweat ceremonies in order to see which type of rocks hold heat the best. We chose this topic in order to gain more knowledge about our First Nations culture. We performed heat capacity experiments for different types of rocks and consulted with our community elders for guidance.
