Biography
My name is Md. Taslimul Hoque however I am better known as Taz. I was born in Bangladesh but for most of my childhood lived in Japan. I currently live in Kingston, Ontario and I am in grade eight of the challenge program at Calvin Park Public School. One of my hobbies is to read books and I also love to make videos and play soccer. I have also been involved in tech crew for major school events where I have done sound and lighting operation. Any thing with an experimental element has always interested me.

Energy from Garbage

Abstract:An experiment was conducted to see if methane can be produced from kitchen garbage and used as an energy source. Decomposition of vegetables and fruit wastes were performed in a controlled environment. Produced methane from the wastes was burned and the heat was converted to electricity. Overall, methane can be produced from garbage and potentially be used as vehicle fuel, in cooking and generating electricity.
