I am Akshay Ben, studying in Grade 8 in a York Region School, Markham, Ontario. I am the youngest of three siblings in my family. I am very passionate in my curricular activities especially in science and mathematics. I won academic awards in Grade 5, 6, 7 and expecting the same in Grade 8. I am an active participant in many school activities- Student Council, speech competition, volleyball, speed stacking, chess club, running club, Spelling Bee of Canada, anti bullying and York Region School leadership program. I like playing outdoor sports and is practicing competitive swimming at Markham Aquatic Club. Currently I am studying piano to master it. In addition, I have practiced Karate for the last seven years and got my Karate Black Belt. I like to volunteer to serve the community where I live. When I grow up, my ambition is to become a neurologist. |
