| I attend West Kings District High School, in Nova Scotia. I participate in many activities in my school and in my community. I enjoy all sports including hockey and ballet. During the school year, I work at an after school program for elementary aged students. The arts are also an important part of my life. I volunteer as a Special Olympics swim coach. This will be my fifth and final CWSF. In past years, I have won several awards. I am looking forward to visiting Peterborough. I love to travel and I am looking forward to teaching French and science in Switzerland again this summer. I recently was awarded the Toyota Earth Day Scholarship. Next year, I will be attending university to study science. |

Results concluded bioactive levels can be positively affected without decreasing quantity. Findings could potentially lead to tailoring plants to combat many diseases, including some cancers. Some bioactive compounds, including those with antioxidant functions, could be increased for the needs of specific populations. |
