Biographies
Nicholas - Nicholas is in 8th grade at Stanley Middle School in Stanley, NB. He is involved in Army Cadets, Environthon, the UNB Science competition for middle school students, computers, public speaking, the school recycling program, and the Duke of Edinburgh award. He will be receiving his Bronze award level in May. This past winter, Nicholas went to the Provincial Cadet Biathlon (skiing and shooting) championship. This summer Nicholas will be at cadet camp for 6 weeks for the adventure program. He is hoping to go to England, Wales or Italy with cadets in a few years. Nicholas plans on studying architecture in university. He wants to design buildings that blend in/compliment our natural world.
Aidan - Aidan is in 7th grade at Stanley Middle School in Stanley, NB. He loves golf, Geography, and History. He recently won 4th place in the Provenience of New Brunswick Geography Challenge, and will also be attending the Provincial Middle School Speech Competition in May. Aidan recently memorized all the capitals of the world and says he wants to visit/live in Andorra someday. You can either find Aidan studying facts about the world or on the golf course. Aidan has traveled all over North American and the UK. He would like to explore Asia someday. At university, Aidan plans on studying either golf course architecture, geography/history to be a university professor, or mostly like both.

Abstract:Only the Nose Knows is an experiment to test how your sense of smell contributes to your sense of taste. Ten subjects tasted a series of 8 different foods while "blindfolded". Each food was tasted twice - once with nose plugs and again without nose plugs. We then compared the results.
