Abstract:One third of seniors over 65 years old suffer an unintentional fall each year. Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) due to falls is prevalent yet awareness is lacking among seniors. Fashionable helmet protection is also lacking. This project set out to solve this issue. Testable prototypes were designed to fit under an existing seniors headwear choice therefore leading to better acceptance.
