Biographie
Abby feels honoured to represent Precious Blood School at the Canada Wide Science Fair. Last year Abby participated in CWSF in Windsor where she was able to share her project “Boys are Gross” and won a bronze medal. Abby is in grade 8 and has a personal interest in theatre and music. She enjoys art, drawing, painting and is particularly fond of reading and writing. Abby also has an interest in social justice activities. Abby enjoys mathematical challenges and creative projects both of which inspired her to develop the “Germs Everywhere” program at her school. This program was initiated in June of 2014 and was completed with its evaluations for this year’s science fair. She plans to further enhance future Science Fair projects with a similar theme that will have useful results for her school and community. Abby has plans to attend university in the future and is interested in the area of microbiology. For other students thinking about a science fair project, Abby's inspirational words are "put forth your best effort and learn as much as you can".
