| My name is Govind Pisharodi, and I was born in Belleville, Ontario. I am currently in grade 7 attending the 'Harry J. Clarke Destinations Programme'. I am involved in many extra-curricular activities such as hockey and soccer. I enjoy playing the electric guitar and drums in my free time, as well as reading, and watching movies. I have 3 first place awards in the QRSTF. I am currently moving onto the CWSF where I will compete in the grade 7 category. I won the ‘Principal’s Choice’ award for student leadership when I graduated from grade 6. I have been selected to participate in the ‘ABC Learning’ enriched program at ‘Queen’s University’ in Kingston. I enjoy doing charity work in my community. I help out as a recycler at my schools (past & present) because I care about the environment. When I grow up, I hope to be a doctor or an engineer. |

Biofuels and Fossil Fuels: A Comparison

I tried to figure out how much energy a biofuel would produce in comparison to a fossil fuel, which of the two fuels is more eco-friendly, and which fuel would be better for us in the future. Fossil fuel prices are high, they’re non-renewable, and contribute to global warming. Therefore, we need to start looking for alternate energy sources. |
