| My name is Juliana Gallas and I am a Grade Twelve student at Valour High School in Petawawa, Ontario. I am involved in my school with Student Council where I organize student activities and promote school spirit and Mathletics where I completed the Euclid Math Contest that was prepared by the University of Waterloo. I also tutor children for math and reading at Kumon, something which I enjoy very much. Academics play a big role in my life, I am very interested in the sciences and mathematics, especially biology, but also thoroughly enjoy World Issues and English. I hope to go to university for a Nursing Program to become a neonatal nurse. I would also like to travel to third-world countries to help provide them with access to health care that is so desperately needed. Having participated in the CWSF held in Charlottetown when I was in grade 8, I am very excited to again have this wonderful opportunity in Montreal this year. |
