Biography
Hello my name is Jocelyn Pon and I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I am in grade seven and now attending Silverspring Elementary School. I am thirteen years old and I was born April 13, 2003. My hobbies include playing piano, reading and spending time with my sister. This will be my first experience for the CWSF. I enjoy many science project related to plants using different types of treatments such as inoculants, fertilizer and plant hormones. My project will be on the effect of liquid fertilizer and powder rooting hormone on various types of plants. The CWSF will give me an experience that will allow me to make new friends and see other innovative science projects.

Abstract:The purpose of the experiment is to test which type of treatments (liquid fertilizer and plant hormones) would grow the longest healthiest roots for menthol and rosemary plant cuttings. The hypothesis is the menthol with hormone and fertilizer would grow the longest roots. The results show that plants treated with hormone and fertilizer grew the lengthiest and healthiest roots from the menthol plant cutting.
